“Hi, Dad!” he exclaimed as his father’s voice came through. “How’s everything?”
“First rate. Just thought you might like to hear about that FBI report.”

“You bet I would!”
“Your hunch was right, son. Many of the people who sent in that flood of complaints turned out to be known subversives. That’s why the government gave the green light for your expedition!”
Tom told him about the radio message from Bud, and about finding Bronich’s campsite. He also suggested that his father contact the foreign government which claimed ownership of that area, and tell them a Kranjovian agent had established a base there.
“It’s too late to keep Bronich from using our blueprints,” Tom concluded, “but maybe we can stop him from drilling!”
Shortly after father and son had signed off, the Sky Queen landed at the American camp. Several hours later the two cargo jets arrived from the States.
Bud was piloting the one which carried Colonel Eagle Friend and the dogs, while Hank Sterling was at the controls of the other, accompanied by Dr. MacGregor, a slight, sandy-haired man with a trim mustache and an air of quiet competence.
Tom immediately put all hands to work building a series of mammoth ice caves lined with asbestalon for housing the planes, stores, and equipment.
With the men divided into shifts, work continued around the clock. Twenty-four hours after Bud’s arrival, the job was nearly completed. Chow was just BLIND RESCUE 153
