1963 owned by Harold Raymond Battiste Jr. (b. November 28, 1931; New Orleans, LA). Funded and
distributed by Sue Records, A.F.O. artists included
Barbara George (‘‘I Know [You Don’t Love Me No
More]’’), Wallace Johnson, Prince La La (‘‘She Put
the Hurt on Me’’), Ellis Marsalis, Mac ‘‘Dr. John’’
Rebennack, and Willie Tee.
