b. 1934; Natchez, MS
Harmonica player and singer in the style of Jimmy
Reed, active mostly in south Mississippi and Louisiana. His 1960s recordings were made with producer
Jay Miller in Crowley, Louisiana, and were released on
the Zynn and Excello labels. His subsequent activity
is little documented, but it appears he recorded with
the Mojo Blues Band in 1992 for the Austrian group’s
CD Blues Roll On (EMI Austria 830319 2/C7777035).
