Mbonga had already seized two of the raiders and banged their heads together.
Then he streaked in pursuit of a third victim. The giant overtook his quarry easily and dragged the fleeing man back. Tom had downed Macklin.
“Nice going, genius boy!” Bud grinned as he counted the five prisoners. “Looks as though only one got away.”
“Mbonga trail him when daylight come,” the native promised.
Bud covered the captured saboteurs with one of their own discarded rifles. Tom collected the other guns. Meantime, Professor Eldreth was making soothing noises as he calmed and rounded up his herd of dinosaurs.
By the light of the saboteurs’ lanterns, Tom inspected the transmitter. Presently he removed a small transistorized assembly. “Pretty neat,” he announced. “This is a remote-control device of their own which would have enabled them to shut off the main repelatron sweep beam after the skyway was open.”

too,” Bud said. “And we still don’t know who slipped them your remote-control gadget.”
Tom’s eyes had a steely glint as he said, “Maybe Mr. Macklin can tell us.”
Macklin glared back at him in silence. Kroker was sullenly nursing his injured jaw.
The other saboteurs squirmed nervously but said nothing.
“Hey! Someone’s coming!” Bud exclaimed.
In a moment figures appeared among the trees beyond the transmitter clearing. The lantern light revealed their faces-they were Tom’s own men! Luke Auber was in the lead.
“I assume those monsters are under control?” Auber called out.
